I AM A STORYTELLER
This year Nikon in South Africa presented the first instalment of I AM A STORYTELLER, a new campaign aimed at showcasing the inspirational stories of South Africans, who through photography have influenced change in their local communities.
Victor Matom is a proud resident of Soweto with a passion for photography and sharing knowledge, combining this with his desire to provide skills to his community, Victor has spent twenty five years teaching photography.
“South Africa is filled with remarkable and inspiring stories. Stories of ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things through their love of photography and the art of storytelling,” says Grant Askham, Chief Executive Officer for Nikon in South Africa. “We are inspired by his work at the Sifikile School of Photography and with this partnership aim to afford many future aspiring photographers the opportunity to share their voices.”
